Delivery Drivers

These are part-time seasonal positions.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate gas, diesel, and propane buses for end deliveries from Company to schools and other entities
  • Observe all federal, state, and local speed and safety regulations
  • Observe Company customer service and safety policies
  • Obtain timesheet with route location and driving directions/instructions
  • Perform pre-trip inspection of bus by walking around bus to observe any visual defects and checks operating systems – brakes, horn, windshield wipers, lights, first aid kits, emergency flashers, and door-opening devices before starting trip
  • Report emergency or imminent safety conditions to Shop and or Bus Sales
  • Report accidents immediately to police or ambulance service as needed and complete Company accident report

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake and passenger endorsements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with excellent driving record as verified through the state Motor Vehicle Department
  • Knowledge of buses a plus
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Scheduling and time management skills
  • Must pass DOT physical, drug/alcohol screening, and other required tests
  • Must be available to work flexible schedule
  • Professional appearance
  • Friendly and customer-oriented
  • Work independently
  • Physical strength adequate to maneuver the bus
