The LF Transport® is built with no mods to the original cab structure, no mods to the chassis cab B pillar structure which is critical, and minimal mods like wheelbase stretch of the OEM chassis frame rails which is standard in the bus industry. Without significant changes the LF Transport® is able to retain all Ford, GM and Freightliner OEM warranties. The conversion of the Ford chassis is Ford Motor Company QVM Program approved.
When a consistent road condition is monitored by the positional sensors this suspension system makes electronic adjustments to maintain a smooth air ride and improve the quality of all passengers' rides. This innovative electronic design prevents overcompensating adjustments mechanically controlled valves make in other systems.
Innovation is standard on the LF Transport®. Its OverRise™ function lifts up the entire vehicle 2.5" above the manufacturer's intended ride height with a simple button push allowing the bus to navigate at low speeds on complicated road surfaces that would not be possible with a vehicle at normal ride height. Monitored by the IntelliSYNC® electronically controlled "Smart" suspension system, the OverRise™ function automatically returns the shuttle to the standard operating height preventing unintentional wear and tear of the suspension and tires when the speedometer exceeds ten miles per hour.
