Anti-skid ramp flooring surface has a static coefficient of friction on wet and dry ramp surfaces not less than 0.5.
Ramps operate in temperatures between -4 to 122 Fº.
Ramps support 660lbs at mid-span.
Ramp side barriers automatically swing up to prevent wheelchair run-off during use.
Side Barriers are highlighted with yellow and black reflective strip at least 1" wide.
White center stripe on ramps for wheelchair guidance.
User control interlock only allows ramp to be activated when vehicle is in park. Once the ramp moves from the fully retracted position, the vehicle cannot be moved out of park and an audible chime sounds 5 times to indicate issue. Power ramp also flashes a visual indicator 5 times.
SE edition manual ramp has a 1:4.1 slope and meets ADA/CSA-D409-02 vehicle guidelines.
DX and LX power telescoping ramps have 1:6 and 1:4.4 slopes. Ramp controls are located on accessible door and interior B-Pillar. Meets ADA/CSA-D409-02 vehicle guidelines.
Includes manual override tool in event of power loss. Ramp function can be disabled using switch on center console.
Ramp will stop if encounters obstacle/resistance level outside normal operating range.
Ramp smoothly deploys and retracts within 30 seconds.
Switch is on outward face of accessible door: Operator can press/hold the Ramp Deploy rocker switch to deploy/retract the ramp. Operator can use the Ramp Length rocker switch to select Long/Short deploy.
B-Pillar Switch: Operator can press/hold the rocker switch to deploy/retract ramp. Ramp long/short is based upon the last used setting on the rocker switch located on the outward face of the door.
Operator continues to hold “Ramp Out” rocker switch until Ramp is fully deployed. A single two-second audible chime will sound to indicate full deployment. Auto Complete (Retract) will allow ramp to fully complete the retract cycle if Operator inadvertently releases the switch prior to full completion (press/hold deployment only).
