It has come to our attention that air intake tubing may separate from the rubber boots and/or air cleaner housing on 2008 Visions and newer. Severe engine problems could occur including possible engine wipeout if air intake system is not checked.
Unfiltered air entering the turbo
2008 and newer Blue Bird Visions with Cat and Cummins engines
The intake tubing from the air cleaner housing to the turbo may be improperly installed.
Inspection of the intake track is needed to be sure the rubber intake sleeves are installed fully over the intake reducer adaptor and the turbo intake. Make sure over torque of the intake clamps has not deformed the adaptor or turbo inlet.
