"DEF, a urea solution, will cause your vehicle to lose power."

As long as the DEF tank is adequately filled, your vehicle will remain as powerful as ever. A low fluid warning light will alert you when it's time to refill your tank.

MYTH: "The SCR system will add a huge amount of weight to the bus."

Even with the SCR system and 10 gallons of DEF on board, we'll weigh the same as, or less than, our competitors.

MYTH: "DEF will be very difficult to find"

With most of the industry using SCR, DEF is as available as diesel or any other fluid your vehicle needs.

MYTH: "DEF is a toxic material that degrades in heat and cold, and the SCR system is difficult to maintain."

Years of use in Europe prove that degradation won't be a problem with safe, non-toxic DEF. Maintenance only requires you to replace a single filter.
